HOMEOPATHY: A gentle way to better health

Adults and Homeopathy

To quote from the Society of Homeopaths’ Code of Ethics and Practice “homeopathy serves to prevent ill health as well as being of benefit to most patients in both acute and chronic disease” (see FAQ’s for more detail).

Homeopathy is highly effective for acute conditions i.e. sudden onset of illness or accidents and first aid e.g. food poisoning, nausea, travel sickness, flu, fevers, sore throats, cuts, grazes, accidents, shock, bruises, burns, stings and bites.

Homeopathy is holistic, which means that it treats the whole person. A remedy is chosen to match the uniqueness of the individual and not from a list of diseases with one remedy for every person with a certain disease. In fact homeopathy does not use disease labels such as bronchitis but treats according to symptoms. How people react to their symptoms is as important as the description of the symptoms.
